Description: This layer was developed to delineate and locate the drainage features in Riverside County. To provide pertinent information for inventory and analysis. The attributes collected included but were not limited to: a. Physical Characteristics (material) b. Susceptibility to Hydromodification c. Facilities draining to TMDL or 303dData was provided by Riverside County Flood Control District. RBF then checked and/or field verified the channels and applied topology for purposes of linear referencing. State provided TMDL and 303d layers were applied to the data and channels were attributed with facilities where TMDL or 303d occurred downstream. Channels were attributed as being susceptible or not susceptible to hydromodification (NAT or NEE being susceptible).The original GDB_TRANS.TRANS.NPDES_CHANNEL_LINES feature class is a GIS database created to aid the Transportation Department with the NPDES Program compliance. The original GDB_TRANS.TRANS.NPDES_CHANNEL_LINES feature class contains the location of Channels (storm drains) in Riverside County within the Transportation Department ROW. The Channel Lines are classified as Earthen, Flat Bottom, Trapezoidal and V-Ditch. Data current as of September 2012Currency of updates - QuarterlyExpected next update - Not determined at this time
